A Transparent Election for Workplace Safety
Employees at Artinian Atelier Academy recently participated in the election of their Safety Committee representatives, an important step in strengthening the company’s safety governance system. The committee forms part of the safety and security infrastructure required under the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) Code of Practices, particularly COP23 Health & Safety and COP24 Emergency Response.

The election ensures that employee voices are represented alongside management in identifying workplace risks and improving safety practices.
Employees Represent Employees
Wasaratch Chaiphalad (Kie), one of the elected representatives, said he joined the process to ensure employees have a clear voice when safety concerns arise. Being part of the HR team will also help coordination and allow issues to be addressed more quickly.

Safety Officer Thanaporn Hemmakun (Tawan) highlighted that the election process was open and transparent, allowing employees to actively participate. According to her, the committee plays a key role in discussing safety concerns, reviewing risk areas, and proposing preventive measures that protect both employees and the organization.
A Structured Safety System
At Artinian Atelier Academy, safety management follows five core principles aligned with RJC standards:
- Risk identification and workplace hazard control
- Employee training and safety awareness
- Emergency preparedness and response procedures
- Incident reporting and corrective action systems
- Joint oversight between employee representatives and management

Guided by the company’s Sustainability philosophy, the Safety Committee ensures that safety at Artinian Atelier Academy is not only compliant with regulations but continuously monitored and improved through a structured system.
